Hello Members,

Welcome to the Second Edition of the newly launched ABAdss Newsletter were we give you a recap of the recent month and give you the latest news in FTA.


October was a good month for all with all popular brand receivers up and running. It was also a good month for ABAdss which launched a new forum design with a chat room and so far has received excellant feedback.


Also this month here at ADAdss a Spanish language pack was created which translates English terms and phrases to Spanish which will assist our knowledgeable Spanish community.


Lets all congratulate Tomcat01 on his newly appointed position of moderator here at ABAdss - it's well deserved.

Viewsat Ultra and VSTV

This months feature article will be on Viewsat.

Recently Viewsat has climbed it's way to the top of the FTA world with solid products and excellent support. They have been dominating the FTA world with the Platinum, Xtreme, LITE and PVR - Now they are very please to introduce the latest receiver in the lineup, The ULTRA.

The ULTRA is a very serious machine with a 200 MHz processor, 32 Mb of SD RAM, favorite channel list, radio channel screen saver, a awesome universal remote control, colorful graphic user interface and a USB communications port for easy data updates. They are very excited about this receiver and so far they have received excellant feedback on this new receiver.

Also brand new for Viewsat and you heard it here first is the VSTV - which is a simple looking device but the technology inside is amazing. The VSTV sits on top of your tv and gets connected to either your tv antenna, satellite receiver, cable box or DVR and shifts the signal to your PC which transmits the signal via the internet - watch tv on your laptop, PC, Cellphone, ipod or anything with a internet connection, you literally take your satellite signal with you - you can even change the channels. This will be a big hit and will retail for under $150.00 and is being released as you are reading this newsletter.
